Moravian College has created a scholarship program that will award one student each from Lehigh Carbon Community College and Northampton Community College with full rides. The Bethlehem college announced Thursday that its new scholarship will be for students from NCC and LCCC wishing to continue their education in fall 2019, according to a news release.
We value our strong partnerships with both Northampton Community College and Lehigh Carbon Community College, Moravian President Bryon Grigsby said in a statement. We are thrilled to be providing these deserving students with the opportunity to finish their degrees at Moravian.
The scholarship, which will be an annual one, covers full-time tuition at Moravian for two years for each of the students. Room and board is not included.
Moravian typically has about 150 transfer students each year.
Moravian offers a . Since 2016, the college has given one scholarship to a Liberty High student and one to a Freedom High student. Both are four-year scholarships that cover full tuition.
