What to Report:
91¿´Æ¬ encourages every student, staff, faculty, and visitor to report any unsafe acts, conditions, or incidents that happened that occur at any of the campuses, off sites, or Moravian related events. For more information on what to report, please review the reporting guidelines below.
Reporting Guidelines:
- Exposure
- Work Related Injury/Illness
- Near Miss
- Occupational Illness
- Property Damage
- Release to the Environment
- Safety Concern
- Vehicle Collision
Reporting Form:
All reports submitted online will go directly to the Environmental Health and Safety Department for review. You can also contact the department at (610) 625-7921 during regular business hours or at ehs@moravian.edu. If it is after hours, call the MUPD at (610) 861-1421. EHS is on call 24/7 and will be contacted as needed.
Please allow the EHS Department to respond within 1-3 business days from when the report was submitted before following up with them.
Some safety related reports submitted to EHS and or the University will be shared with the Moravian Safety Committee, who will discuss different cases and make the necessary safety recommendations. The MSC serves as an advisory board for the President's Cabinet when it comes to the environmental health and safety of the university. All non-related EHS concerns will be referred to the appropriate university department for further review.
