Parental Leave
91¿´Æ¬ provides six weeks' paid leave to eligible* exempt and non-exempt employees to care for a newborn, newly placed adopted child, or newly placed foster child. During the initial six weeks of such leave, and provided the birth or legal placement of the child has already occurred, the staff member will continue to receive their regular base compensation without the requirement to use paid time off.
91¿´Æ¬ provides lactation support to employees in accordance with federal, state, and local law, and best practices. The University promotes a family-friendly work environment and provides safe lactation support for parents who are returning to work while continuing to breastfeed.
