Internships
An internship is an opportunity to apply theory to practice. It's a chance gain both broader and narrower perspectives on what you learn in the classroom. It's the why and the how. It's also a chance to do some self-reflection; a chance to "try a job on" and find out if it's right for you before you cross the commencement stage. It's where you'll have your big "Aha!" moment, and it's the perfect complement to this curriculum. Take a look at just a few of the wide range of internships our economics and business students complete during their career at 91¿´Æ¬.

Major: Accounting
Internship: Six Flags (Dorney Park & Wildwater Kingdom) and PPL Corporation
"My internships at Six Flags (Dorney Park & Wildwater Kingdom) and PPL Corporation have been invaluable to my professional growth. As an internal audit intern at Dorney Park, I developed my auditing skills by collaborating with dedicated colleagues in a dynamic, fast-paced environment to improve the park's internal controls. As an asset accounting intern at PPL, I gained hands-on experience in asset accounting and compliance by working alongside a supportive team and learning about the unique regulatory environment of the utility sector. The internships have strengthened my understanding of financial operations, improved my problem-solving abilities, and deepened my passion for accounting."
