Dr. Adamshick is an advanced practice RN and has numerous years of experience. Her experience as a nurse educator includes teaching in Masters, Baccalaureate, diploma, Associate degree, RN-BSN completion, and accelerated post-baccalaureate programs.
She has participated in international nursing experiences, including an educational nursing exchange with students from the University of Southern Queensland and from Queensland University of Technology (Australia). She accompanied nursing students on clinical nursing care experiences in Honduras with the MAMA project.
Dr. Adamshick has presented her research at international, national, and local conferences. She has several peer-reviewed publications, and participates on a regular basis as a reviewer for nursing and psychosocial journals.

Ms. Alberts clinical expertise focuses on the adult patient in both the critical care and step-down settings; however, her work as a professional nurse began in the medical-surgical acute care area caring for patients on a cardiac-surgical unit. Ms. Albert has also worked in nursing leadership roles as the clinical coordinator of a step-down unit and also as a hospital supervisor of a local community hospital.
Ms. Albert found a passion for teaching after working with a preceptor that provided an incredible learning experience for her in the critical care setting; Mary Beth made it a goal provide others with similar experiences and educate through both the art and science of nursing. Ms. Albert worked as an adjunct clinical instructor for 91心頭 for over ten years and has also worked as an education specialist in the hospital setting with a focus on building the skills of the novice nurse in the acute care, step-down and critical care settings. Ms. Albert remains active at the bedside in an ICU setting and also functions as an ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) Instructor for a local hospital network.

Dr. Altomare is an Assistant Professor of Public Health at 91心頭. Her work has focused on children's health behaviors in the context of environmental exposures. She has also worked on research projects focusing on application of quantitative microbial risk assessment models for foodborne pathogens, specifically Listeria monocytogenes. Prior to her appointment at 91心頭, Dr. Altomare was the Assistant Director for Supplemental Instruction at the University of Houston-Downtown, where she trained and supervised over 200 undergraduate tutors and mentored undergraduate research projects in higher education.
Dr. Altomare strives to create an innovative teaching experience for students at Moravian and aims to involve students in undergraduate research projects focusing on water quality, food safety, and sustainability practices.

Ms. Butler specializes in the Maternal-Child specialty with significant clinical expertise in maternal-newborn and high-risk neonates. Her professional nursing career began bedside for over 15 years where preceptor and leadership roles have led to her passion in nursing education.
Ms. Butlers clinical teaching experience includes nursing courses related to Foundations in Nursing, Health Assessment, Med-Surg, and Maternal-Child Nursing. Based on her personal learning needs and experience as a student nurse, Ms. Butler has gained an appreciation for developing critical thinking skills through classroom to clinical learning and vice-versa. Most importantly, she always strives to provide the same level of teaching to her own students through a holistic learning environment that includes caring, inclusiveness, integrity, and excellence.

Dr. Cheever has broad-based experience in the adult acute care inpatient environment. A retired U.S. Navy Nurse Corps Commander, she served as specialty advisor to the Navy Surgeon General for critical care and medical-surgical nursing issues and trends. She has forged nursing service scholarship relationships within the local community, notably with St. Lukes University Health Network, establishing the Evidence-Based Practice and Standards Council. Invited to participate in the Turkish Fellowes Programmer, she served as a visiting scientist in 2012 and delivered a series of lectures at three Turkish universities, including the keynote address at the First International Turkish Nursing Research Conference at Fatih University in Ankara. With Dr. Janice Hinkle, she serves as editor of the Brunner & Suddarth Textbook of Medical-Surgical Nursing, which has received two American Journal of Nursing Book of the Year Awards since 2008.

Dr. Coyne is Associate Professor of Practice in Public Health at 91心頭. Prior to her appointment at 91心頭 Dr. Coyne was the Director of Health Advocacy and Policy at the Lehigh Valley Health Network in Allentown PA where she established the Health Advocacy Program and a medical legal partnership. She also has held a faculty position at West Virginia University teaching graduate students in public health. In addition, Dr. Coyne has experience working in state government and with a cancer research non-profit organization.
Dr. Coynes research focus includes health disparities, particularly those related to housing and food insecurity; health literacy; and health behaviors associated with social determinants of health. She has been the principal and co- investigator on several federally funded and philanthropic grants and has published in peer-reviewed journals, co-authored two book chapters, and served as presenter at regional, state and national conferences.
Dr. Coyne believes that being involved in ones community as a way to affect positive change is very important. She currently serves on the board of directors at New Bethany Ministries in Bethlehem and is an active member of the Lehigh Valley Food Policy Council and the Lehigh Valley Regional Homeless Advisory Board.

Dr. Paulette Dorney received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from Cedar Crest College, and her Masters of Science in Nursing degree from the University of Pennsylvania in the Critical Care Clinical Nurse Specialist track. Additionally, she received her Doctor of Philosophy in Nursing Education from Indiana University of Pennsylvania.
Dr. Paulette Dorney has over 30 years experience as a practicing registered nurse and educator in a variety of clinical and academic settings. Her diverse practice and leadership roles have covered a number of specialties including critical care, cardiology, post anesthesia care, trauma, medical surgical, staff development, quality management, and end of life care. Dr. Dorney brings a wealth of practice experience to the classroom environment. Dr. Dorney is active at the local, and national levels in professional service and has received numerous nursing honors and awards.
Her current research interests focus on college student bereavement, intra professional collaboration, and practice readiness. Her recent publication (2015), The empty desk: The sudden death of a nursing classmate. OMEGA Journal of Death and Dying, 74,1-29, DOI: 10.1177/0030222815598688 disseminates her research findings related to grief and bereavement within the milieu of nursing education.

Dr. Farber has been a nurse for more than 35 years and has a background in the medical-surgical, critical care, and peri-operative nursing specialties. Her experience as a nurse educator includes teaching freshman college students, traditional undergraduates, RN-BSN, and graduate nursing students. She teaches a variety of courses and content, which include college level reading and writing, adult medical-surgical health, peri-operative nursing, holistic assessment, nursing research, and theory practice for nurse educators. Dr. Grollers clinical expertise focuses on adult medical-surgical nursing care; particularly in cardiovascular, bariatric, and plastic surgical health concerns. She previously presented on education needs for patients with cardiovascular and bariatric health concerns as well as high-fidelity simulation use in health professional education at professional conferences for organizations such as the Academy of Medical-Surgical Nursing (AMSN), Society for Vascular Nursing (SVN), Midwest Nursing Research Society (MNRS), American Society of Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery (ASMBS), The Obesity Society (TOS) and Society for Simulation in Healthcare (SSH). Her work has been published in reputable nursing and medical journals such as Journal of Vascular Nursing, Clinical Simulation in Nursing, Surgery of Obesity and Related Diseases (SOARD), and Journal of Nursing Education.
Her doctoral studies, explored weight recidivism in weight loss surgery (bariatric surgery) patients. This was the first study to examine and synthesize patient education practices within the bariatric specialty. Her doctoral dissertation, Patient Descriptions 91心頭 Weight Loss Surgery Education Practices, was a qualitative descriptive study that further investigated patient descriptions about their weight loss surgery education experience and satisfaction regarding their experience. Her research interest continues to focus on obesity management (from a bariatric surgical perspective). Other current research interests include the use of technology in patient and academic education (digital pedagogies) and impact of preventative care on quality of life for patients with genetic mutations. Dr. Groller serves as an editorial board member for the Surgery of Obesity and Related Diseases (SOARD) Journal. She is also a founding member of the Nursing Research Collaborative of the Lehigh Valley (NRCLV).

Dr. Grube is an Assistant Professor and the Director of the RN to BSN program at 91心頭. She has taught a variety of content and courses, including maternal-newborn, leadership in nursing, and foundations of nursing. Her clinical expertise is in high-risk neonatal nursing in which she held positions as a staff nurse and nurse educator.
Dr. Grubes dissertation research explored the experience of couples with infertility. In addition to infertility, her research interests include bullying in nursing academia and innovative pedagogies in nursing education. She is a Jonas Scholar Alumni, having been awarded the prestigious Jonas Leadership Scholar Award during the 2016-2018 award period.

Dr. Shirley Guider received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from Emory University and her Masters of Science in Nursing degree from Yale University in the Consultation Liaison track with a focus on the interaction of mind, body and spirit in creating wellness. Additionally, she received her PhD in Pastoral Theology from the Lutheran Theological Seminary at Philadelphia.
Dr. Shirley Guider has experience as a practicing registered psychiatric nurse in a variety of clinical settings and has served as an ordained pastor in the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA). She has taught in both academic and clinical settings including teaching about power, harassment and conflict in organizational settings.
She wrote the chapter Embodying Christ, Touching Others, in the edited volume Sensing Sacred: Exploring the Human Senses in Practical Theology and Pastoral Care.

Dr. Hoffman presently serves as the Director for the MSN program for Clinical Nurse Leaders, Nurse Administrators, and Nurse Educators. Dr. Hoffman was a charter member of the Upsilon Alpha Chapter of Sigma Theta Tau, International and continues on the chapter's Board of Directors. Dr. Hoffman is a member of the American Nurses Association and has served on the Boards of Directors for PSNA, District 2, as well as Pennsylvania Organization of Nurse Executives. She currently serves on the Coalition for Women and Gender Studies of the Lehigh Valley Association of Independent Colleges (LVAIC). Dr. Hoffman is a proud member of ANEMO, the Mozambican Nurses Association and has played an important role in teaching leadership skills for nurses from Africa, including Mozambique, Tanzania, Ethiopia, and South Africa.

Anita Lugo started her nursing career on a medical-surgical, cardiac, and stroke floor. She then moved on to working on the labor and delivery, nursery, and postpartum units for several years. Following this, Anita became a primary care pediatric nurse practitioner and worked in pediatric endocrinology. It was in this position that she recognized her passion for teaching. After four years of adjunct and full time instruction primarily in pediatrics and maternity, she has joined the 91心頭 faculty. Her research interest is in breastfeeding support and she is an international board certified lactation consultant. She is a prenatal education instructor as well.

John has almost ten years of experience with cardiac medical-surgical and cardiac critical care patients at St. Luke's University Health Network. There, in 2014, he developed a Ventricular Assist Device Program for advanced heart failure patients and has presented at multiple conferences about the meeting and exceeding patient outcomes and educational practices for patients and their caregivers. John has presented two quality improvement initiatives at St. Luke's, including "Developing and Implementing a Ventricular Assist Device Program in a Community Hospital - Meeting and Exceeding Quality & Financial Benchmarks" and "Early Education of LVAD Patients: A focus on Program Outcomes & Patient Quality of Life." Prior to joining the 91心頭 faculty in 2016, John had done adjunct work both here, and at other local schools of nursing.

Dr. Payton is an Associate Professor of Public Health at 91心頭. Her work has focused on refugee health surveillance including the prevalence of communicable and non-communicable disease, womens health screenings, and vaccinations. Her work has also focused on the organizational climate for workplace lactation support in Pennsylvania from the perspectives of employers, employees, and workplace lactation experts. She has published her work in peer-review journals such as the American Journal of Public Health and the Journal of Immigrant and Minority Health. Dr. Payton is Co-Chair of the Research, Evaluation, and Ethics Committee of the Society of Refugee Healthcare Providers. She is a member of the Society for Public Health Education (SOPHE) and the American Public Health Association (APHA). Dr. Payton has multiple leadership positions with the APHA including Science Board member, Section Councilor for the Maternal and Child Health (MCH) Section, and Co-Chair of the MCH Section's Professional Development Committee.

Expressive writing and reflection as it relates to learning within clinical education.
As a nursing faculty member for more than thirty years, Dr. Scholtz is acutely aware of factors that impact on a student's success. She received her PhD from Widener University. Her dissertation research examined variables inherent in clinical education that may be perceived as threatening to the nursing student and developed strategies to maximize successful completion of the nursing curriculum. Reflective journaling, clinical judgment in the novice nurse, and development of methods to create connectedness between instructor and student are areas that also interest her. She also authored a chapter on clinical education in the textbook Nursing Education: Foundations for Practice Excellence. Dr. Scholtz received the Award for Teaching Excellence in 2001 from the Pennsylvania State Nurses Association and was a finalist in the Nightingale Awards for excellence in Nursing Education.

Earning both her BSN and MSN from Moravian College, Ms Watchous has over 35 years of experience in psychiatric nursing. She has worked in both inpatient and outpatient settings in a variety of clinical and leadership settings. Ms. Watchous has been certified from the American Nurses Association in Psychiatric Mental Health nursing for over 30 years and is a member of the local and national American Psychiatric Nurses Association. She focuses on helping all health care clinicians to better understand mental health issues with appropriate interventions to help to decrease violence in the workplace and improve outcomes with patients. Ms Watchous strives to create an innovative teaching experience for students at Moravian and aims to involve students to better understand the correlation to health and mental health for optimal outcomes.

Dr. Joan Zaccardi is Clinical Assistant Professor at the Helen S. Breidegam School of Nursing and Public Health. She is Certified by ANCC as a Family Nurse Practitioner and is considered an expert in providing primary care for women and those with bladder and pelvic floor problems. Dr. Zaccardi has several peer reviewed publications and has presented on women's health topics at the state and National level. Dr. Zaccardi has experience in research as an investigator and study coordinator. She is an active member and Fellow in the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and serves as Co-chair of the women's health specialty practice group and as the Chair of the New Fellows Selection Committee.

Dr. Kathryn Mishkin is a seasoned professional with nearly 15 years of public health and international development research, management, policy, and evaluation work in 15 countries. In addition to her role at 91心頭, she develops and implements womens oncology real-world evidence and outcomes research strategy as an Associate Director of Outcomes Research for Womens Cancer at Merck & Co. She also holds leadership roles in the American Public Health Association including as Chair of the International Maternal and Child Health Committee and appointed member to the Science Board. She has experience serving on national and local Boards of Directors for organizations dedicated to improving the lives of women and girls and on scientific journal editorial boards. In addition to her scientific publications, Dr. Mishkin has developed womens health policy and has contributed to national and state maternal mortality reports. She has been honored for her work by the American Public Health Association, the Association of Maternal and Child Health Programs, the Delta Omega National Public Health Honor Society, New York State Perinatal Association, University at Albany, and Emory University. Dr. Mishkin is a Fulbright alumna and Returned Peace Corps Volunteer. She holds a Doctorate in Health Policy, Management, and Behavior from the University at Albanys School of Public Health, a Master of Public Health (Global Health) from Emory Universitys Rollins School of Public Health, and a Master of Arts in Sustainable International Development at Brandeis Universitys Heller School for Social Policy and Management. She completed her undergraduate degree at Smith College.
